Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Harbour Hotel & Spa Bristol enjoys a fantastic central location in the old city, allowing easy access to local attractions; some rooms even offer views of the historic clock showing both London and Bristol time. Guests consistently praise the cleanliness and modernity of the facilities, especially in the spacious rooms and the unique spa located in a former bank vault. The spa's steam room is particularly well-regarded for its exceptional cleanliness, though some have noted the acoustics within the tiled walls can amplify sound. With many restaurants nearby and generally good value, it's a popular choice for a city break.

Decent Hotel Experience

friendly staff sunny room free upgrade unclean carpet cold reception broken elevator
I received a complimentary upgrade to a lovely suite. The room had very high ceilings and was wonderfully sunny. All staff I encountered were very friendly and approachable.
The reception is cold and unwelcoming, it is also small. Some communal areas need a re-paint and the stair carpets need a hoover. I could not get the lift to work. I notified reception, and I was just left waiting until they informed me that they would 'tell someone'.

my room, a beautiful double room, offered ample space and thoughtful amenities. robes and slippers were provided, also tea and coffee facilities. the minibar was a welcome addition to the room..
i had some issues with communication regarding discounts. i was informed of two parking options with a 20% discount upon arrival. the next morning, the manager stated the discount only applied to one option. this discrepancy caused some confusion and inconvenience. clarity on such matters is important.
